American Idol - Josiah Lemming - Josiah's Journey

Josiah is the 17 year-old homeless boy that made it to Hollywood in Season 7 of American Idol. He has a strong voice and is very charismatic but was very erratic in his performances. Danger - 11h30

You’ve had your mind blown at the Daft Punk show, you’ve been dancing to Justice for months. Now you’re ready to get a little deeper. French newcomer Danger brings together glitchy pop with hard-hitting power chords and tone-pitched vocals. It’s a synth disco/funk overload and it’s pretty much irresistible. Hear it on the right sound system and it’ll likely change your life (at least for about 4 minutes).

If you like the song, check out the EP. You can visit the MySpace page at http://www.myspace.com/2emedanger.

Mavado - Last Night

Mavado is a Jamaican dancehall artist with a thick, rumbling vocal style that comes close to the style of dancehall epitomized by his inspiration and label mate, Bounty Killer. This beat is a booming, bubbling electro pulse, over which Mavado carves out a meditative, revealing look at city life in his thick patois. The track is from Mavado’s debut, Gangsta for Life: The Symphony of David Brooks.
