It doesn’t get more primal than guitar/bass/drums and the Virginmarys elevate the holy triumvirate and attack their instruments like hungry bears stumbling upon on a fresh carcass. “Bang Bang Bang” is like a cosmic collaboration of Humble Pie and Wolfmother — all gnashing guitar and bass, cymbal crashes, and sweaty, fly-away hair (facial and otherwise) swishing from side to side.
